Nail conditions

Debrided mycotic nail Fungal nail infections

Difficult to treat, ugly in appearance. Most treatments include debriding/filing down , LAMISIL tablets from your doctor, anti-fungal nail paint or just ignored. In the clinic we have several methods of treatment. The treatment proven to be most successful is radical debridement followed by Low Level laser Therapy, regular LCN nail therapy

The treatment is slow (the nail did not get into this condition over night!) and requires dedicated co-operation of the patient. Dependant upon the severity of the problem varying degrees of success can be achieved. Low Level Laser Therapy treatments have been seen to produce positive results with Mycotically infected nails and is now available.

Ingrowing Toe Nails

An extremely painful condition that can quite often be treated simply and inexpensively in the clinic.
Sometimes though, the nail is so deep in the toe tissue that only treatment under a local anaesthetic will do and here we will refer you to an excellent and highly skilled podiatric surgeon. This means you will be back at work the next day, and your risk of infection reduced to virtually zero. Which means that whatever the condition of your toenail it will be treated swiftly and effectively.
